About Our Name Change and the Firm's History
Kuch Stephenson Gibson Malo is proud to announce the change of the company name to FORM Architecture Engineering. The new name and the positioning statement, "Better Places for People" reflects the vision of a firm who are well-known for innovative design excellence delivered with a high level of quality service and responsible project management.
"Our new identity is part of our succession process and positions us to move forward with focus and direction," principal John Stephenson commented. "As senior leaders, we want the next generation of our team to embrace the core values that shape our culture and define the way we work."

To conceive the very best solutions, FORM's multi-disciplinary team works with clients and contractors from concept to completion to create thoughtful projects that engage users and enrich the way people experience daily life. Notable local and regional projects include: école secondaire catholique de La Vérendrye, George Jeffery Children’s Centre, Regional Education Alliance for Community Health, Aviation Centre of Excellence (ACE) – Confederation College, Hilldale Lutheran Church + Hall, Fort William Historical Park Visitor Centre, Sister Margaret Smith Centre, Hogarth Riverview Manor, Fort Frances Memorial Sports Centre and the Atikokan Municipal Offices.
Kuch Stephenson Architects was established in 1986 by Walter Kuch and John Stephenson. In 2002, the firm merged with GBW + Architects and Engineer which was founded in 1996. This amalgamation brought Michelle Gibson, Jim Malo and Ian McEachern together with Walter and John to form the founding principals of Kuch Stephenson Gibson Malo Architects & Engineer. In 2007, long-time associate Cory Stechyshyn joined the firm as a partner. Today, the firm employs 26 dedicated staff and continues to attract like-minded professionals.
